Hi, thanks for the great module.

I have just noticed something, I created a View with different node thumbnails with each of them having the average vote set to display. I enabled guest visitors to vote and saw that some of my nodes have been voted on. However in any view I've made the stars remain empty and the only ones showing any votes are those that I voted on myself.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I noticed it works if I set it to allow voting on the views display (which I don't want as I hide the vote when hovering over the thumbnail)

Cheers

I hate to bump this old thread, but I have run into the same issue.

Views only gives the option to display the rating that the admin gives the node. Is there any way to display the average user vote instead?

I believe I have a similar issue with display rating through a block view.

I've attached a screenshot of a node which shows the rating set at 4. The block on the right hand side is a view which display content from that same node. You can see how the two taxonomies correctly match the node content.

However, the star rating does not. I have tried every combination of user/average votes and it still has zero.

It maybe that the vote is set to the user vote and not the average vote on one of the displays (but not both). Check under manage display of the content type you are looking at.

We can no longer support the Drupal 6 version of Fivestar. It is in security maintenance mode only. When the Drupal 8 version of Fivestar is released, the Drupal 6 version will be officially deprecated.
