I've tried everything and nothing seems to answer a question I have about simplenews. Here goes... I've installed simplenews and it works just fine on my administrator page but when I look at other user accounts the 'subscribe/unsubscribe' button is not visible and either is the email address of the account. It just shows 'Jason Brand, MSW newsletter Stay informed on our latest news!' Can anyone tell me what I need to do to make the subscribe feature available to users? Thanks!

I presume you mean that when you log on as one of your test users and go to the My Account page, then to the "my newsletters" link, you can't subscribe or unsubscribe here?

Check your access control settings (admin/user/access); in the "Simplenews" section, you can set which roles are allowed to subscribe/unsubscribe to newsletters.

From the modules README.txt:

- Grant the proper access to user accounts under Administer -> User management
-> Access control. The most important setting is "access newsletters" for
all roles, including "anonymous user" if you want links to be displayed in
the Simplenews block to everyone.

- Enable the Simplenews block by navigating to Administer -> Site building ->
Blocks.
