I've uploaded a lot of images to the media section of my Drupal 7 installation.
Now I'd like to add images from the library to a gallery.
Isn't it possible to select more than one image there? I cannot imagine that adding e.g. 500 images one by one to a gallery is the only existing way, is it?

It is possible. Just hold down the ctrl or shift key while selecting images.
