johnnocYou can post on the Nepali team's board and inform the group of your intentions. You may also contact the team manager and ask how you can effectively contribute. If all else fails, we can take it from there.

aryansubedi commentedHello again !! i have sent several message to group admins but they are not still replying . They are not active in this group probably.
They even have translated 10% but 90% are left back. Please help me ..
zirvap commentedI can’t read Nepali, but I’ve looked at http://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/ne , and it certainly looks as if more active maintenance is needed:
The best solution would be if snkr could be convinced to appoint some people to approve translations, and to appoint another group admin as well. I was about to send him/her an email about this issue, but snkr’s contact form isn’t active.
aryansubedi, if you have snkr’s e-mail address, can you send an e-mail asking him/her to comment in this issue?
Also, can you write a post on http://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/ne/board (use the "Create story" link on http://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/ne ) about this issue, so other members of the Nepali translation community can join the discussion?
We don’t have any procedure for what to do if a group is abandoned by its admins, I’ve started a new issue about that: #1858786: We need a procedure for appointing new admins to abandoned translation groups
Comment #4
zirvap commentedNow we have a procedure for this kind of problem, see Dealing with abandoned translation groups. If you have any questions about what to do next, please ask!
aryansubedi commentedI have mailed the admin of the group but his form is not active and i have failed to contact him. I even have suggest more then 60 translation but still it is not approved . I wish if there would be a Drupal CMS in Nepali it will be easier to explain to the clients and those who even doesnot knows English language. I also organize Drupal Meetups where newbie can Learn about Drupal. So It is mine heartfully Request that please make this group active or Lets Create a new Nepali Translation Group.

zirvap commentedaryansubedi has posted about this at http://localize.drupal.org/node/5308
So, now we'll wait two weeks as the procedure says, and hopefully get some more comments from people in the translation group.
(I'm changing "Assigned" to "anonymous" for this issue -- it is used to give the name of a user who will solve this issue, and that will be me or someone else who have access to give the necessary permissions. I don't put my own name there, because if someone else is quicker to fix it after the two weeks have passed, they shouldn't feel they need to wait for me.)
aryansubedi commentedHi there i have one issue . Well Now Nepali Translation group is approved so how do i start Nepali Translation ?
Well i want to be active to this issue so guys please help me //
Comment #8
zirvap commentedNow you must wait for two weeks. In that time, both snkr and others from the Nepali translation community can comment on who they want as additional admins.
Meanwhile, you can add more suggestions at http://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/ne/translate .
aryansubedi commentedThanks for your support, but is the existing group has been removed ?? i didnot seen any groups in translation page.
zirvap commentedIt seems to have disappeared, that's strange. I'm not completely sure how to fix it, have posted #1876572: Nepali board and group has disappeared -- can I just recreate it, or is something else needed? to get info from someone who knows more.
You can use this link: http://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/ne/translate to add translation suggestions.
gábor hojtsyAs per the records cited in #1876572: Nepali board and group has disappeared -- can I just recreate it, or is something else needed?, the team lead deleted the group (without notifying anybody), so a new lead should be possible to appoint right away AFAIS. BTW deleting the group is a pretty destructive action and is in fact not intended to be a power to have for team leads.
aryansubedi commentedSo how can we lead or create the group again ? It is taking long time to fix it. Please admins fix it as fast as possible. Sincle drupal 8 has been released but we have not translated drupal 5,6 and 7 completely. Well i have also translated many strings but still nobody has approved it. So, Lets create new active and working team.
what you think ?
gábor hojtsy@aryansubedi: the group was only removed 3 days ago, and there are major holidays in wide areas of the world where most of the current admins are located. Not sure how would this qualify "taking a long time to fix it". Please be a bit patient, thanks!
aryansubedi commentedok thanks again but please try more from your side to fix this issue.
zirvap commentedI've re-created the group. There was no consensus in http://localize.drupal.org/node/5308 on who should be group admin, so I set aryansubedi as admin.
aryansubedi: It is now your responsibility to add more group admins and more translation moderators when that is needed by the Nepali translation community. See http://localize.drupal.org/node/616 for information about how to do it (and please ask if something's unclear).
