When you click a picture the first time you see it twice. When you press next it all goes back to normal. Only in ie6, in firefox there is no problem.

You are not using the included version of thickbox.js. Other versions, including the original, is not supported.

You are adding drupal.js, thickbox.js etc twice on every page. Ones in the header, where they belong, and ones in the footer.

Fix that bug in your theme and then I guess it will work.
