Thickbox

The Thickbox module is a wrapper for the jQuery plugin ThickBox.

Thanks to user contributions the module provides automated integration
with ImageField (CCK) + ImageCache and the Image module.

From the ThickBox homepage:

ThickBox is a webpage UI dialog widget written in JavaScript on top of the jQuery library. Its function is to show a single image, multiple images, inline content, iframed content, or content served through AJAX in a hybrid modal.

There are a number of similar modules for Drupal so I recommend the article "Comparison of "lightbox" type modules" on drupal.org.

My hacked version of the inline module for Drupal 5 provides support for Thickbox and Imagecache. This is what you see in action on xdeb.org/blog.

Thickbox 1.x is compatibel with Imagecache 1.x.
Thickbox 2.x is compatibel with Imagecache 2.x.
