Hi,

I wanted to let logged in user choose another email address in forward form - but the email field is hidden. Is it possible to let users fill in another email address then their account email address which is taken generally?

Looks like a bug in the 6.x version. If you know how to create a patch that would be appreciated if you can post a fix. Otherwise I will take a look early next week.

I have created a patch for this issue.
Logged in user should have "override email address" permission if they dont have permission then email field will hidden for those users.
