Menu local tasks - edit terms disappears.

TVI rules, we use it a great deal for creating highly customisable sites when used with taxonomy based structure.

One thing I've picked up on, which is a blocker to TVI being really user friendly , is the fact that the local menu tasks disappear when the view is being overridden. This isn't the case when the default taxonomy view is rendering the page , so I assume it is possible to display the menu tasks (tabs).
It would be far easier to edit and configure the term from the page as opposed to going through the taxonomy page administration area, particularly when there are hundreds of terms.
