i installed the chosen module it works perfectly with normal forms.
i am using the editable module but it seems that the chosen module doesn't work with select list fields that it's formatter is editable
is that true or there is a way to make chosen work with select list fields that formatted with editable module.

seems that latest 2.0 alpha version fixed the issue.

however, on current 1.0 version, you need to load the chosen.js from init in the footer of the page:

drupal_add_js(drupal_get_path('module', 'chosen') . '/chosen.js',
				array('type' => 'file', 'scope' => 'footer', 'weight' => JS_DEFAULT)
			);
