In the media_gallery module there is a feature to drag and drop images. --> see screenshot

They can build a similar feature for a GRID format in their modules?

There is the module with the GRID format Sortable Grid Views Plugin

In the README.txt it says just change the format to HTML list. Seems to work fine other than I don't see drag handles just some blank space.

Thanks for the link to the Views plugin though. The link didn't work, try this.

@JustMagicMaria is correct, if you have HTML List, you can drag and drop. They do not look like screenshot in your example though. Patches are welcome to make them look like this. For now, i'm closing the issue.
