As soon as i enable Entity Translation for File entity, be with whatever options i select, File edititon popups (ctools?) break. Trows at me an error, then the popup goes into a never ending loop.
So it's no longer possible to edit files, as long as Entity Translation module is active.

Same results with or without aggregation/caching enabled.

should this go here, in file entity or entity translation?

note: the same setup worked just fine with Entity Translation disabled. as soon as Entity Translation is disabled entirely, or not enabled for Files, everything works normally again.

Hmm, not sure, i just tried and works..but i have latest dev of file_entity..could you try with it?

there's some wysiwyg fields on the node edit, but they never conflicted with media's edit file.

i've disabled file cache, aggregation and caching all together, and the problem persists.

I get the same error message with Media 7.x-2.0-unstable7 but don't have Entity Translation installed. Will try again with the current dev version.

EDIT:
No more warnings with today's dev version 7.x-2.x-dev (2013-Jan-06).

I think we've already fixed any random issues that might have popped up here. Can anyone confirm this is still an active issue?

I've tested the above modules/install with the latest x-2.0-alpha1 version of the Media module as well as File Entity and Entity Translation modules without the above issue arising, so I'd say this isn't an active issue any longer unless others disagree.

I also haven't had any issues with translating files using the latest release of Media, File entity and Entity Translation.
