Hello there,

I installed the latest dev 7.x-2.x-dev aloha editor and expect to enable it for a wysiwyg profile but it does not appear under the list of editors, also there is no link for configuration link anywhere to be able to activate plugins. Actually, apart from the module page saying it is activated I cannot find any evidence of it anywhere in the admin... nothing...

the 7.x-1.x used to appear under config > user interface...

Hi there,

I have turned off and uninstalled the dev version of the editor and then installed the latest alpha version... for both 2.0 dev and 2.0 alpha I cannot find sign of the editor on Wysiwyg profiles...

I have installed during installation a message pops up saying the module Requires: Filter — "true WYSIWYG" I clicked OK.

now modules show:
Filter — "true WYSIWYG" (enabled),
Icon fonts (enabled),
jQuery Update (enabled)

However under Content authoring » Text formats >> full HTML there is no "true WYSIWYG" filter... Only the following:

Enabled filters

- Limit allowed HTML tags
- Display any HTML as plain text
- Display Suite evaluator
- Convert line breaks into HTML (i.e.
and

)
- Convert URLs into links
- Convert Media tags to markup

Can anyone suggest what need to be done to get editor working?

1) It does not integrate with the WYSIWYG module. I.e. no "WYSIWYG profile".
2) Indeed there is no admin UI. All you have to do is configure the text format appropriately. You must allow the "p" and "br" tags, and disable the "Convert line breaks into HTML" and "Convert URLs into links" filters.
3) We're currently focusing on Drupal 8 development. The 7 version is currently unsupported.

I see "Other releases" 7.x-2.0-alpha1. And this version is not working (and 7.x-2.x-dev to) :(. Many users can't install it.

Wim Leers, please correct any errors in these versions, write instructions or remove these versions (because they absolutely do not work).
