Is there a way to get pictures photographed in "portrait" format to display with the proper orientation in "landscape" format? Basically it is a question of rotating some pictures by 90° to display upright.

BTW: fantastic module, it is so easy to use and the simple bulk upload solution is "brilliant" :-)

Well, seems like functionality that is out of the scope of a gallery display module.

But perhaps the EXIF information could be automatically read (of course, only if the images are coming from a digital camera) and the images would then be rotated accordingly.

I'll give it some thought. If others have good experience and even code snippets for EXIF-related manipulation, please post your comments here or contact me by mail.

you are right - i rotated the pictures in iphoto before uploading. that works fine.
