I've attached an image. A cursory investigation of the CSS didn't find why it looked so bad. If everyone else is getting this weird appearance, it's a major bug. Thanks.

normally issues with themes are opened in that theme's issue queue since modules cannot account for all themes. That said I have committed a fix in an effort to stop themes from floating the elements.

There was also a fix pushed in shiny that will hopefully prevent breaks like this from happening. http://drupal.org/node/1857364
