PHP parse error

I am receiving following error in the error log.

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';', expecting ')' in /sites/all/modules/hierarchical_select/modules/hs_taxonomy.module on line 194

I am using HS for taxonomy terms of worlds languages. Not all language names are in one word, some languages have two names and are added as terms in these formats:

Chuang, Zhuang
Divehi, Maldivian
English
Greenlandic (Kalaallisut)
Hindi

etc.
