Based on #1131818: Add a class to links, to allow theming It would be nice to have those classes also in versie 6.x of this module. I have created a patch that add a class to the views publish/unpublish link and add the same class to the menu links.

As the core bug will never be fixed for D6, this seems useless. Thanks for the patch anyway.
