I have a CSV file detailing around 1300 nodes to be created, this worked for me once. All 1300 nodes have since been deleted and I am re-importing them from the CSV file.

At the end of the process, I am notified of "1300 entries updated". However none of the nodes exist, they are already deleted and so there is nothing to "update", and new nodes are not being created. The feeds_item table is empty.

I've tried choosing to update, replace, and force, none have any effect.

Change guid option from default to "Not used as unique". And it works perfectly. Thank you6

Yes, if your GUID is not unique per item, then the remaining items will all update instead of create new ones.

@BDeveau, was this your problem, or do you still have it?

I am getting this issue as well. I am trying to import ~50000 phone numbers and I'm getting notices that no nodes have been created, just updated. The nodes don't exist though. Before this I successfully imported 200,000 nodes.

The only thing I did was truncate my revision tables, they were ~2.4 gigs. Do they track the uniqueness of the feeds in some way?

Drupal 7 reached end of life and the D7 version of Feeds is no longer being developed. To keep the issue queue focused on supported versions, we’re closing older D7 issues.

If you still have questions about using Feeds on Drupal 7, feel free to ask. While we won’t fix D7 bugs anymore, we’re happy to offer guidance to help you move forward. You can do so by opening (or reopening) a D7 issue, or by reaching out in the #feeds channel on Drupal Slack.

If this issue is still relevant for Drupal 10+, please open a follow-up issue or merge request with proposed changes. Contributions are always welcome!

Now that this issue is closed, review the contribution record.
