On the module description page it says: "Incompatibility: Simplenews and Content module are currently not compatible. See the this issue in the Content module issue queue for the current status."

This may be wrong and is misleading. At least the referred issue does not speak about Content Module but the Category module. This may scare people who have CCK installed. Which, well, is everybody ;-)
