I am getting myself ready to upgrade my site www.oundledeanery.org.uk from D6 to D7. My current theme is the Roople Theme Newsflash but I shall be using Pixture Reloaded on D7.
The front page of my current site has a table down at the bottom which is an important feature. I have tried inserting this table on a very basic test site using Pixture Reloaded on Drupal 7 here: http://d7.oundledeanery.org.uk/
I can deal with the minor formatting problems but it is clear that a fixed-width table like this does not behave correctly when I reduce the window size resulting in the dreaded scroll bars appearing.
I would be very grateful for a pointer of the right direction to go in here. Should I be abandoning tables altogether and, if so, how do I recreate the effect of my table in a way that will work in an adaptive theme?
I have attached text files of the html used to create the table and the stylesheet to which it refers.
