Comparing Flashvideo module and OpenPackage video module

I'm researching the best video module to install on a site I'm working on. Can anyone comment on FlashVideo module vs. OpenPackage Video. Both transcode video via ffmpeg.

From looking at the respective projects, flashvideo seems to be more active with more releases and more issues. However, I'm using Mediatemple grid server hosting and they don't support ffmpeg, so the OpenPackage support for transcoding on a different server is somewhat attractive. But I'm worried that the project doesn't seem very active.
