I have a bizarre error on my site using Thickbox.

The images open fine in FF - but in IE7 (not tested with IE6) the images just open up in a new window/tab.

I cannot find any reason for this to be happening. I've temporarily disabled all other modules relating to Javascript (with the exception of imagecache which is being used to resize the images as displayed in the page), cleared the cache and refreshed the page but I still have the same effect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - the site is at www.racetechharnessing.co.uk

Regards

Patrick

Now here is the really bizarre thing - the error is intermittent. Keep hitting CTRL-F5 on this page (http://www.racetechharnessing.co.uk/grand-prix-2006) and sometimes clicking the image will take you to a new page showing just the image and sometimes it will open in ThickBox.

Help!!!

Got the same problem on a couple of sites.
Strangely Thickbox doesn't kick in on IE7 and IE6 95% of the times.
When it works the page keep working until you clear your cache.
Will have to inspect this deeper someday.

I'm seeing that problem too, on a Drupal 6 site with Thickbox 6.x-1.2. It's strange because, with Ubercart, thickbox works on one product category and not on another. For example, the "Replacement Fluids" products all seem to work, such as:

http://americanink.sundaysenergy.org/am-5101108-replaces-fasco-oil-based...

But in the "Taper Parts" category, it doesn't...

http://americanink.sundaysenergy.org/ama-5000076-replacement-belts-psc30...

In that case, it just opens the image file (for example):
http://americanink.sundaysenergy.org/sites/default/files/imagecache/prod...

Note - the above is true in Safari 3 and IE 7 (don't know about 6). It is, however, working correctly in the latest versions of Firefox and Camino.

I tried flushing the full_image cache, but it didn't do anything. Any help would be much appreciated!

Jim

NOTE: Actually, in this case the problem wasn't with Thickbox. Rather, the Image Upload's title field contained some dimensions (like 2.5" x 76"), which was messing things up. Once removed, thickbox returned in IE 7 and Safari. Hope that helps someone.
