unexpectedly i installed ecommerce alpha version which caused me hell of problems so i directly deleted it via FTP as its not allowing me to uninstall from admin panel.

Now when i uploaded the stable version ecommerce-5.x-3.4 i am getting error message on each page of the website.

user warning: Table 'seaou_daBf.ec_cart' doesn't exist query: UPDATE ec_cart SET cookie_id = 1 WHERE cookie_id = 'f2147a417fa14a35de0aeb4642329737' in /home/seaou/domains/domain.com/public_html/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 172.

can someone please help me with this?

You installed an early version, then put a late version on top of it? Or the other way around? You may need to do a fresh install and rebuild the database. (by the way, have you tried ubercart?)

i have installed alpha version which is unstable (that was accidental) then when it messed up the whole website i checked the reason which i figured it out as alpha version and then directly removed the ecommerce folder from modules via FTP as i was not able to do anything from website admin panel as it went completely blank. Now when i installed (uploaded the stable version) ecommerce it shows some errors on top of each page as well as i am not able to uncheck the ecommerce module from modules page (under admin panel). How to rescue my site from this as i wanted to have shopping cart, i need to use the user points in shopping cart for which i am trying this ecommerce thing. I am not sure whether the ubercart allows such option to use userpoints as payment?

my site has already got traffic and members base with adequate content in it.

looking for help.

this seems to be going around http://drupal.org/node/190528
tried the instructions here http://drupal.org/node/119432#comment-511762 and it worked (there are other suggestions in the thread as well)
