It would be GREAT if each OG could choose which user will be the default "assigned to" person - right now I'm struggling with making this awesome module work within OG because each group will have a different project manager. :).

Any tips re: best way to accomplish this?

It would be better to create some default "assigned to" person functionality for each project instead of OG group. That would make the functionality also available for none OG users.

I will put this on the wishlist ;-)

(Eventually, the group itself should be able to vote for the project manager (the default assigned to). But I'm of course getting ahead of myself.)

It's completely possible to do this with a small custom module, but I'm not sure it should be part of casetracker. At any rate we won't be adding new features to the Drupal 5 series at this point, so I'm setting this to "won't fix."

If someone does code this as part of full OG support for D6 I'd be happy to consider it..
