Issue Summary
I have renamed the Create Content to Administrative Content, and I set the access permissions to the few roles that have the ability to add static content to the website. Yet even when not logged in, the menu item Administrative Content still shows up, and I can't figure out why.

Similar issue here! I created a menu with some items exclusive to certain roles, at least according to the permission selections Ive made. But, they all show regardless.

sorry... but i forgot to patch menu.inc after updating to D5.5.
Anyway, as a standar procedure: I uninstalled the module (first deactivate, then uninstall to remove table on db). When I installed it again after patching, it worked again like it should...

Not a lot of users will search for this issue, using terms like 'mea culpa'. ;-)
