Views integration seemingly unable to handle 'close poll' as a filter

I'm getting a bit stuck here. I can successfully create a view that pulls in existing nodes of type 'advanced poll'. However, if I add a filter to the view, and try to filter on "Content: Close poll (advpoll_closed)", first of all I can see that behind the modal it's added a new display ('Master', with a red border around it). Then on the next screen where I choose a value (in this case: 'Is one of', 'Close poll'), I can't save the filter. The dialog simply won't apply and close.

I can kill the dialog, and the filter is there, but as it won't save the 'Close poll' filter correctly, it's returning no data.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Screenshot attached.
