I have used Fivestar Comments module in a 6.x site for a long time.
Rencently, I have tried to upgrade this site to 7.19 version and found out that Fivestar Comments module has been taken off from Fivestar module.
Though Fivestar 7.x-2 provides field-able rating tool in Comment module, it can only create a new fivestar field in comment but not keep the old records in 6.x Fivestar Comments module. So the records in users' comments were missing after the upgrade proccess.
To me, this is a major problem that prevents a real upgrade. Either I need to give up this module, or got stuck in D6 site.
Is there any possibility to implement a full upgrade both with Fivestar module and Fivestar Comments module?
Thanks

tky commentedHello, any suggestion/solution to fix this issue?
Or I need to hack the Fivestar 7.x-2 to achieve this goal?

j_ten_man commentedIs this being worked on or not? Doesn't look like much work has been done on the fivestar module for some time...

ericduran commentedI changed the title. Yes we can do this.

whiteph commentedMoved the priority down. Using the definitions in Priority levels of issues, where it says Tasks and Feature Requests are very rarely “critical”. They should usually be “normal” or “minor”.

whiteph commentedThis is going to be a challenge, as I don't have access to a D6 system. Creating a fix for this would take a lot of work. I do recognise the need for the fix.
Anybody out there who could help?

tr commentedWe can't support upgrades from D6 to D7 at this point in time.
