Allow the format of Start and End Dates to be changed.

At the moment, Date Views allows users to format both start and end dates seperately, but not together.

E.g "01-02 March 2003" -for a event that covers two days

There are ways to get around this using fields excluded from views, but this does not work if end date is not always present.

E.g the closest format possible to the above is "01 to 02 March 2003"

I realise this could be done using theming / PHP, but it would be great if this method could be avoided.
