Exceptions Dont Seem to be Handled Properly

Hi,

I use this module along with the calendar module to create an hours page for the library I work at. Along with a monthly view that works perfectly, I also have a view that shows the hours for only today. 99% of the time, it works perfectly, but I noticed that if I put an exception into the repeating date and then add another time, the todays hours will skip right to the next days hours as if there were no hours to be displayed for today.

Here's what the problem looks like:

As you can see, the monthly calendar says that the library is closed, but in the top right, the daily hours says it is open, which means that its completely skipping the exception and going on to the next day. Also, I set up that view to filter so that Content Date - start date is less than or equal to now and I have also tried Content Date - end date is greater than or equal to now. I get the same thing for both filters and when I put both of them together, I get no hours at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
