Hi,
I created new advancedpoll node. Set the storage mode to normal. Cached all pages. Voted on pool page. After visiting pool page again anonymous user is able to vote again.
I tried it with drupal caching on and off as well - the same behavior.

I can't reproduce this. Check your voting API settings, if the vote storage is set to 'normal', this is handled by votingAPI.
