mlncn commentedGus Domian of Agaric did this. Full text search is there, which covers keywords.
Country currently has all places in one drop-down. This can be optimized but is not critical.
Date I do not think belongs here. It certainly fit well in display. We can have a dedicated search for date, or one that adds date but takes away some other search, if necessary. But we also have calendar views such as http://dev.wsf2008.net/event
Please reopen this if this search should be modified or create a new issue for a new date search.

aguiton commentedi aggree with ori, if this "find an action" has no more feature, it's confusing in the front page
the main ways to find an action is to zoom in the map or to go in a country page, if we want to present a third option (find an action), it has to be more useful than today and i don't see the full text research tool ??

jnardi commentedIt looks fine to me - I don't understand why it is confusing. This is the first button people will use.
It should also have THEMATIC filters (by keywords/tags) to make it complete and not only geografical, as was defined in the initial specs
I think we need to improve on visibility to "Join an action" once you open the action space (the Register is not comprehensible and immediate.

mlncn commentedThe list of keywords will be even longer than the locations. We can easily add that as a dropdown.
Alternatively, we can add text informing people that the search bar also searches keywords.

(Sadly there doesn't seem to be any viewsfastsearch autocomplete functionality yet but we will look into that further. It shouldn't be too hard.)
