Description
The display and layout of the country page is way behind.
Minimum we need (ppt last slide as reference):
Country title
["26 Jan 2008 - Act together now! Call for global action" [linked to the call in the country language]
MAP
Find/Join an action (right side)
Present an action (right side)
Latest actions
(list 5) - link to all actions
Latest news/activities
(list 5) - link to all news
Calendar
Newsletter subscription
Photo gallery
Video gallery
......
In a later stage, we will also need:
- Wsf Media in the country
- Connect actions! (Button)

#1
we need also to have the tags related to the country (filter)
#2
Jason: We need new people to subscribe and you said you would put at least the link to the bulletin subscription on the Brasilian website: http://www.forumsocialmundial.org.br/cadastro.php?cd_language=2
#3
Jason:
The phrase: Jan. 26, 2008 - Act together for another world! Call for action
is not appearing in all the country pages, below the country name - linking to the call for action (same as in the home page).
Ben: I've put the link and text there, needs some positioning.

Jason via Skype:
5 - In countries, the correct order of content should be:
1. Actions (on the side of the map - max 10)
2. News (max 5)
3. Messages (max 5)
4. Wiki (where does it go?)
5. Photo (1 horizontal set of pictures)
6. Video (1 horizontal set of videos)
#5
Jason via Skype:
The right side menu (My participation, etc) is not appearing in the country pages when registered.
... it needs to be visible.
I think it could go on the left side under the map, and we move all the "information content" (news, wiki, messages, etc) in the same column as the actions. Of course the list for each must be short with a "[more (news)...]" link
Pictures can go below, as in the home page.
#6
Please go ahead and implement what is missing.
#7
PLEASE FINISH THE WORK WITH MISSING PARTS !
In particular:
- Country / Place wiki
- WSF Bulletin/Newsletter subscription
- Shorten tag list and relate to country (cities, etc. - this should come from the taxonomy order)
#8
People,
Is Drupal.org the appropriate place for this issue?

Hi Heine,
The idea is that the world social forum installation profile (which will include a module and a theme) undergo the trial by fire of going through the live launch. As you can see it's gotten a little out of hand. In this case the method of creating place wikis on the fly will be part of the installation profile, the filtering of a tag cloud by other terms (in this case, for place) on mutual content types absolutely will be included if we can do it at all, and even the newsletter subscription may end up being a module or snippet that is used. (Country pages themselves, a panel with views replacing the usual taxonomy page for terms in the Place vocabulary, already is a part of the installation profile.)
@Jason:
The issue queue isn't so much the place increasing the volume of requests as for sorting out what needs to be done. And there are too many pieces to this request. But anyway, taking three:
1. Do you want the place wikis automated or do you want to empower a set of users to create them (but everyone can edit).
2. Subscribing being handled over at http://drupal.org/node/202620 -- this is a bit of work for a dirty hack.
3. This is not trivial SQL and has performance implications I think. I know I discussed it elsewhere but here's a new note on filtering terms by nodes belonging to a given term.

1. Should be automated (only registered users can edit)
2. Followup in other issue
3. ok
Still there are a few things - not new requests - to make the country page easier to read:
4. Put a title for the list of "Latest actions" (after the My participation block)
5. Limit the list of Latest actions to 5 displayed and add a "more actions" link to all actions page
6. The Go to country drop down goes out of the frame on the right side (Firefox and safari)
