This tiny patch will order the Project dopdowns. Its hardly impossible to find any projects in there now. Because they are ordered on submission date or so.
the patch is untested, because I do not have project module installed :P

Bèr Kessels commentedCuold this please be implemented? It annoyes me nearly every day!
deekayen commentedI'd like to see sorting too, but in a way that would leave "Drupal" as the default, which the patch doesn't do.
gerhard killesreiter commentedThis patch frankly sucks. How abotu the attached one? Can somebody test it?
gerhard killesreiter commentedThis is even better, I think (uses optgroups).
Bèr Kessels commentedIMO we should bother anymore about ordering, but use the AJAX select form.
killes@www.drop.org commentedThat would really be a bad case of worsened usability through Ajax.
deekayen commentedI say commit a quick HTML fix, then debating AJAX is a more pure feature request than the almost bug-like unsorted mess it is now.
Bèr Kessels commentedWhy would the usability become worse? Any select with over 10 items is bad. Any select with over ~20 items is unusable. usability-rule-ofthmb: lists must not contain more then 7 items.
killes@www.drop.org commentedusability would be bad because I cannot see which projects are actually there.
I've comitted an improved version of my patch.
