wrong author & date information on node preview

Steps:
Click "Edit Current"
Ensure that "Create New Revision" is checked.
Click "Preview".

Drupal status message says
"Displaying archived revision of page ******, last modified by Anonymous on 1969-12-31 20:00"

I don't do any bug analysis on the 6.x branch anymore, but patches are welcome.
