Hello all,
I've been using Drupal for some time now, and with building experience I'm finding myself starting websites from scratch to be quite regular :)
I'm just curious,
I understand D8 is unstable, but if I was building a site in D8 at the current time to be released after Drupal 8's official release, will I encounter any problems upgrading? I'm thinking more about the core improvements which change over time.
I'd like to build all I can when I can at the various stages of D8's development cycle, but I need assurance I will be able to pull it off.

You will likely run into
You will likely run into troubles. D8 is still in dev, which means anything can and often will change at any time. Nothing is dependable. You cannot be guaranteed that anything that works now will still work at any time in the future.
Even after a new version is released, it is usually a few months (or even years, depending on what you need) before contributed modules are properly upgraded to the point that you can upgrade your site. You will *definitely* run
You will *definitely* run into issues. Drupal 8 is far from complete, new code is being added everyday, code being converted, old code being taken out. So I suggest you wait at least until the day Drupal 8 comes out.

Any time a version, core or contrib, doesn't appear on the project page as even a dev release that's the clue you are in the danger zone.
