After the patch in "Publish the most recent pending revision" action throws errors was committed to DEV line, an error is thrown when creating new content if the comment module is disabled. See attachment for a screen shot of error.

On second thought, it's probably best to just cut and paste the text of the error here:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$comment in revisioning_node_presave() (line 544 of /var/www/html/sites/all/modules/revisioning/revisioning.module).
