I decided to "Enable jQuery sf-Smallscreen plugin for this menu depending on the user's Web browser window width" to make SF menus work on iPhone.
it worked, but the menu was very l-o-n-g to scroll thru.

Since I have four top-level items, would it be possible to have an option to create one SELECT menu for each top-level item, and to allow these to be aligned horizontally (rather than vertically as for other menus) -- or maybe this could use the same "Menu Type" selection earlier (Horizontal or Vertical) to arrange these multiple SELECT buttons?

Hey there,

It's not impossible, but kind of hard to achieve; if there's no way to make the menu smaller, I suggest this http://drupal.org/project/chosen (in action: http://harvesthq.github.io/chosen/) I've tested it yet but another user said it's working fine with sfSmallscreen.
