First off - thanks for backporting this out of D8! It's a great module and we're trying some new stuff with it and Omega.

I don't know if this is a known issue by the developers, or if it's something that just isn't documented yet (stubbed at Add picture styles to views), but I'm not seeing the Picture field formatter in Views for an image field, only the core Image formatter.

I was able to apply the Picture field formatter to the same field in the content type's display settings with no trouble.

I'm in the process of flipping over image fields in an existing site wholesale, so really need to suss out why this isn't showing up.

The Picture formatter will appear only after you have frst mapped it.

First create the responsive styles --> admin/config/media/breakpoints/create_style

Then map them --> admin/config/media/picture
