I apologize if this has been fixed already but I didn't see it reported.

All cases view lists a given case once for each version of project node, rather than once for each node. I thought. Except that deleting the additional revision didn't help. I still think that has to be what triggered it though.

I removed all revisions from the project node, and now when I save cases that were associated with it they are no longer doubled, but lose all their project information (number and name).

Editing them again to re-attach to the project does not work.

5.x version is obsolete and will not receive any updates, so i'm closing this issue
