The release notes at http://drupal.org/node/197598 says to consult the readme file for version history, but the readme file has nothing about updates.

Please post updates on the drupal web site so that if we view the release history at http://drupal.org/node/128213/release, we can immediately see what's going on with this module.

An example of where this is done well is with CCK at http://drupal.org/node/48429/release.

I usually welcome all comments and issue posts, but yours have gotten ridiculous. My message in the release notes did not say that there was a revision history in the README - only that details on what is now in the module are there - which they are. The README does detail all new features. And marking this as critical is more than a little absurd. And how is it a bug? Something is broken? A feature doesn't work? Ridiculous; just ridiculous.

I noticed in your profile that you haven't contributed any modules yourself, yet you seem to behave like you think you're the module police. I suppose if you were to take a different tack with the way you point out errors and omissions in others' modules that you could be viewed as helpful, but you do not come off as trying to be helpful at all - just annoying. No other issue poster has ever struck me as annoying; perhaps you could see what others do and learn something.

Looking at your post history, you complain an awful lot without offering any help - no patches, no handbook text, no modules - just miscellaneous two cents here and there. Since it seems you have so much time to complain, you should have time to do these things as well, so maybe you should actually pick up a shovel instead of trying to be a foreman to those actually doing work. I for one, barely have time to meet all of my work demands, family demands, church demands, etc. and still release updated modules. I suppose I could just stop releasing updates. At least then you'd have less to complain about - or I wouldn't have to hear it so much.

I suppose too, that you're going to tell me I just don't have pride in my work again, but when the CVS logs are semi-complete, the project page lists the new features, and the README covers how all features work, I don't see the point in duplicating that information a fourth time in the release notes. So in the future, unless you have something substantive to contribute to my projects, how about you just keep your comments to yourself? I'll run my modules my way, and you run yours your way - oh that's right - you haven't contributed any. Have a nice day :-)

P.S. Look, behind you - there's a nit - go pick it.

Wow, can I offer you a tissue?

Remarking as active because there still remains no way for average users to see release history.

Please take responsibility for your own work instead of blasting those who are trying to help with constructive criticism.
