Is it possible to have Tng open externally instead of in an Iframe?

Yes it is providing you have named your TNG folder something other than /tng.

If you set your path in admin/settings/tng to your directory path eg "genealogy" with your directory being "genealogy" and place a link in your menu to that path and not TNG you should be set.

Your internal iframe will still be accessible by the /tng path

I am sure this is correct, it has been a while :0
