Selecting an existing question in quiz under the Browse questions field set and saving does not add the question to the quiz.

We had almost the same problem as described - maybe the same.

Our problem was that:
- the first save didn't save (error message that a question was not choosen)
- choosnig the question again and saving again resulted in the expected situation (question added to the quiz)

After applying this patch manually, the first save was directly accepted.

With D7 approaching EOL soon I've started the process of triaging the D7 queue here. Since there hasn't been any movement on this going to close out.

If needed for 7.0.x (D10+) please reopen under there
