I've recently released version 7.x-2.x-dev of my module (http://drupal.org/node/1994852). that was 2 days ago, but it's still unpublished :(

so far I managed to follow every Git instruction and I'm working hard to be a responsible maintainer, but I just don't know how to handle this situation.

also I was able to push version 7.x-2.0-alpha1 and it was published within minutes.

I looked in D.O. and Google for an answer to this problem but found nothing. please advise.

This was fixed at some point recently. It can happen occasionally that the build system gets stuck, if the release doesn't happen within a day-or-so please just let the crew know in #1783416: New project releases not packaging? where the problem is being tracked. Thank you for your continued contributions, and patience :)
