Is it possible to send a plain text newsletter with an attachment via filefield

hello,

is it possible to send a plain text newsletter with an attachment via filefield?
so if i have a filefield in the newsletter content type - are values of this field (in my case .pdf files)
sended together with the newsletter? plain text mail is required ...
