I get the following error while trying to upload an image (using "add image" link) through the tinymce/image-assist interface (using latest CVS-- clicking on camera icon):
The browser window has lost communication with the parent form, so images can no longer be inserted. This problem is usually solved by reopening this window from its originating link. Would you like to close the browser window now?
I've enclosed a picture of the offending problem of two browser windows opening (I know this shouldn't happen, because I can get the image_assist.module working on its own-- no double window problems).
No other errors seem to be associated with this problem and reopening the image_assist window shows me that the image did upload successfully and can now be inserted. Weird.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the great modules!

mitomac commentedHi,
I just tested the latest cvs version of img_assist, tinymce.module, and tinymce without any problems uploading new images. I was wondering if this might be an internet explorer specific problem. Could you test it with firefox/mozilla?

bomarmonk commentedWell, I don't get the double pop-up windows using Firefox, but I still have to close the image_assist window after using the "add image" link to upload. Otherwise, when I try to insert an image, nothing happens (preview snippet does work). If I close image_assist after the upload and then reopen image_assist (clicking on the new camera icon), I can now insert an image into the node/edit page.
With Internet Explorer, the problem remains with the double windows and having to close and reopen image assist in order to get the newly uploaded image inserted.
I did have some permissions problems earlier, but would this be related to permissions on any of the tiny_mce or image assist folders or files? I'm not getting any "access denied" warnings in Drupal.

mitomac commentedoK, I think I'm with you now. I can now replicate the problem in firefox/linux. Does this sound accurate. If you activate drupalimage (camera icon) you can add any of the current pics listed without a problem (and no 'preview snippet' button is shown). However, if you add a new image and then try to insert that image (or anyother image for that matter) the 'preveiw snippet' button is shown and the 'insert image' button has no effect. I think the img_assist is module is somehow forgetting that it is associated with the 'editor' and trying to add the inline image filter text to simple text area. I also noticed that if I click the link under the preview images (right pane), it is taking me to the wrong nodes. Not sure what that is all about.
