I have installed thickbox on my site. If i enable thickbox module for image nodes, load time on all pages is significantly slower (from 500ms to 1500ms). Maybe is here space for speed optimalization? For example - initialize 'as need may be' (in onclick event on element), not in every page load.

For my site too. But for me the time is 10 seconds or more.
