Can teaser length be set per content type?

Is there a way to set different lengths for the teaser text for different content types?
eg 200 chars for story, 600 for blog post, etc.
Has anyone written a module to do this?

It does.
But the interface is way too complex for such a simple job. All I want/have done is one drop-down selector on each content-type admin page. Tweakbox has a weird system of having to add an override, then set it, then something else... I gave up.
Also, modules that are a packaging of whatever their author thought useful aren't a good idea -- because another site admin will have totally different needs and ideas. I don't need or want the other things that come with this. Such as the ability to regenerate teasers. There's in fact a perfectly good standalone module that does only teaser regeneration.
