As of Drupal 7, this set of modules in its current state is not needed anymore. Table of contents and teaser length by content type are now in drupal core. For drupal 6, check out the following modules:

Set of modules that extend drupals configuration and administration functionalities :
- Teaser management : allows you to apply new teaser settings on all or selected nodes, define teaser length per content type, etc.
- Table of contents filter : create a table of contents based on the content by using the h1, h2, h3, etc. tags
Known problems :
- TOC : TOC is created also for teasers, which isn't very nice. Teaser management will solve this problem in the future.
