Maybe I'm missing something, but user1 and normal users seem to be able to give karma to their own comments...

Hi,

Please note that simple_karma is now obsolete...
It has been replaced by extra_voting_forms and user_karma and comment_bury_promote which together offer the same functionalities, but are based on the VotingAPI.

It was a lot of work to change everything... but I did it, and it seems to be working!

So, I am closing this issue. If the issue is still there in extra_voting_forms, please reopen it under extra_voting_forms...
