I have a Test Vocabulary "region".

drupal 5.5, jQuery update, jQuery interface, taxonomy manager, admin menu, devel, cck, views

Here is what i did:

  • enable hierarchical select for vocabulary "region".
  • try to create a node, selecting the deepest, or any given term of the required vocab.
  • => fails form validation "Region field is required."

in addtion setting it to not required also fails to save the term.

Which version are you using? HEAD or 1.4?

HEAD, i.e. the developement snapshot (not the CVS version). Is there a difference?

Use 1.4, or CVS HEAD - which has many new features and will become version 2. The 5.x-1-dev development is no good. I accidentally committed something to it that should have been committed to HEAD.
