Project should display the latest file date (or commit date or whatever).

Is this still an issue today ? Currently, project/issues displays the "last updated" timestamp, which is the TS of the last event on an issue.

Where do you consider this to be missing ? On the issue page itself (node/nid) ?

chx is talking about the project node page itself (e.g. http://drupal.org/project/project), displaying a date stamp for the latest release. that's why he used the "Projects" component, not "issues". either way, project node pages are now displaying a timestamp next to the "latest download" link (probably thanks to nedjo), and if you click on the "view other releases" link, those also have timestamps. so, i'm marking this as fixed. chx: if you think there's something else we need to be doing, please reopen.
